“Alias” star Jennifer Garner has sealed a first-look production deal with ABC Studios. Pact covers her Vandalia Films shingle, which is looking to get into the TV business. Garner runs Vandalia with Juliana Janes; the duo has a first-look pact with Warner Bros. on the feature side. New arrangement reunites Garner with the Alphabet, where she starred for five seasons on “Alias” as Sydney Bristow. The duo said they hope to bring feature writers to the TV side and also work with writers they had met during Garner’s stints on “Alias” and “Felicity.” Garner and Janes said they’re looking toward developing female-driven material such as “Grey’s Anatomy.” “(ABC Entertainment topper) Steve McPherson and I have a great relationship and have been talking about doing something together for some time now. It’s been over three years since the finale of ‘Alias,’ ” Garner said, adding that she was looking forward “to have the opportunity to get back into television wearing my producer hat.” Film projects in the works at Vandalia (taken from the original name for Garner’s native West Virginia) include “Butter,” for Mandate Pictures; “Arranged,” with Mark Gordon and director Gary Winick; “Sabbatical” for Disney; and “Three Days in Europe,” along with Hugh Jackman and John Palermo. |

Jennifer and Matthew did an interview for Rove, which is an Australia talk show! Even though Jen didn’t go to Australia, she did the interview via satellite. I was told Rove is a talk show, like David Letterman! The interview was really awesome, totally worth checking it out. Jen talks about Martha Stewart (The Dog), her daughters, what she would be if she wasn’t an actor, it’s really funny, especially the last minute. Oh yeah, this was another surprise! I hope you enjoy it!
Thanks to Kimmers for getting it for us!
