The Bachlorette Party!
Posted by Biba • 14 Comments »

The lovely Jennifer Garner and Anna Faris have signed onto star in The Bachlorette Party, which Pajiba describes as a Hangover-style comedy but with ladies. Here’s a description of the plot:

A high-school teacher recently left at the altar must now send off her uptight cousin with a huge bachelorette bash. The cousin is marrying the teacher’s best male friend. During a drunken bachelorette party, the uptight cousin betrays her fiancée with a drunken indiscretion, leaving the teacher to decide where her loyalties lie.

Even though this hasn’t been posted on Hollywood Reporter or it hasn’t been confirmed, I decided to post it anyway. So hopefully this will be Jen’s next movie. I honestly don’t know if I’m excited for this. I really want Jen to take on a more dramatic role. Enough of romantic comedies. She has the chops to act her ass out if she chooses the right movie. But I guess we will see how this will come out if she’s really going to doing this movie!

What do you guys think?

Well, that could be a problem if she does a movie with Anna Faris! hehe!

I personally want her to do more dramatic roles!

Well, if it’s a Hangover style comedy it isn’t a romantic comedy exactly… but it doesn’t look like a Hangover style comedy.

I guess you are right, it doesn’t sound like the Hangover!

I guess as long as Jen’s making a movie, I’m happy. I just wish she would do something else besides comedy!

I’m sorry but I don’t think it will be a good movie…I hope I’m wrong…
I think “butter” sounds more interesting than this movie…
Besides I agree with you Biba…I would like to see Jen in a dramatic role…
She’s such a great actress!!!!!

Well, I agree with you Biba. As long as Jen is making a movie, I’m happy… But I wish more action and drama movies!

She needs an OSCAR!!

This sounds like it could be funny. Something that the ladies can relate too since the men have the hangover and all.

I still want her to do more action stuff again. I think I just miss Alias. :(

I want her to do a more serious role as well. Maybe even a thriller or even a spy drama. Enough of the comedy. I would also like to see her win an Oscar. Like you Biba, I am not excited about Butter either or this one. As a loyal fan, however, I will support her anyway.

I agree with everything you said Pippi!

Yeah, it would be just so great if Jen was in a thriller, better in a dramatic thriller. Come on guys give some REAl roles to this actress!!! She is just too good to waste her talent in comedies. I love her in comedies, I liked 13 Going on 30 as well as The Invention of Lying, but I just wished she was cast in a more difficult and dramatic role. As Pippi said, a horr movie or a dramatic thriller or even another spy drama would be awesome. I also missed the kick-ass jen so badly! I want to see jen in an action movie. And yeah I am too bored of cliche comedies. Yet, I still wanna and will watch any movie she is in. This one sounds pretty girly and funny, but Butter, huh…. Anyways…She is really underestimated. her talent is endless but the roles she is given are not as good. I loved her in Kingdom, it was just GREAT! That was a real role. But I hope that jen will get many great and difficult and challenging roles :)
